Full Name: Rachelle Sarah Bilson Birthday: August 25th, 1981 Birthplace: Los Angeles, California Full Biography Rachel Sarah Bilson was boring on August 25th, 1981 to Danny Bilson and his ex wife Janice Stango. She was spoiled by her parents and "grew up sort of like a princess". Rachel began professionally acting at the age of seven years old, gaining a role in "The Wrong Guys" with Louie Anderson. She continued auditioning and finally landed a small role in the TV miniseries "Human Target". This role helped Rachel realize her passion for acting and that she wanted to persue it full-time. Rachel completed high school and hired an agent to help her gain success. She began acting in theater productions, appearing in Bye Bye Birdie, The Crucible, and Once Upon A Mattress. In 2003, Rachel's agent worked to gain Rachel appearances in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and 8 Simple Rules (one episode each). She also nabbed the lead role in the short film Unbroken. Due to this publicity, Rachel was invited to audition for a part in the new FOX television series, The OC. She won the part of Summer Roberts, starring alongside Mischa Barton (Marissa Cooper), Adam Brody (Seth Cohen), and Benjamin MacKenzie (Ryan Atwood). When Rachel was hired, Summer was written to be a somewhat minor character, but audiences took a liking to Rachel causing the show's executives to hire her as a regular character and introducing her in the opening credits in episode 14 of season 1 "The Countdown". The OC took off, becoming one of the most popular and highly acclaimed teen dramas of it's time. Rachel continued to work, starring in the 2006 movie "The Last Kiss" alongside Scrubs' Zach Braff. The OC ended in 2007 at it's peak, after a four season run. The young star continued to work, guest starring in two episodes of the new action/comedy Chuck. Rachel also began working on the action/adventure blockbust "Jumper" alongside Starwars' Hayden Christianson and big shot, Samuel L. Jackson.
