RACHEL IS THIS WEEK’S JUDGE ON PROJECT RUNWAY

Earlier this year, the folks at Project Runway promised EW that the move to L.A. would mean lots of celebrity guest judges. They’ve made good on that promise so far, and now we can add one more to the pack. Rachel Bilson, she of the formerly zeitgeisty show The O.C., will be pulling up a chair next to Nina Garcia in this Thursday’s episode. Judging by the sneak-peek photo, the petite actress loves ruffles even more than Annie Barrett and I do. (Which is saying something, believe me.) She also apparently has a penchant for busy, elegant legwear (that Mandi Bierly would like to own). Best of all, the picture proves that Bilson will be smiling 100 percent more often than this season’s first visiting critic, Lindsay Lohan, who pretty much sat in her chair scowling the whole time. That comeback tour of goodwill is working out great, Lindsay.

What might this week’s challenge be? Bilson and her Jumper costar Hayden Christensen have been engaged since February, well after the long-delayed sixth season was filmed, so a wedding theme is probably not in the cards. (Plus, they’ve done wedding dresses before.) We know there’s going to be a beach challenge this season, and L.A. native Bilson’s certainly got the sunny So. Cal. persona down, so that’s a possibility. Or wait…maybe we’ll finally get an entire episode dedicated to the tragic under-appreciated fashions of Orange County! You know, in honor of Bilson’s once popular show! (Ha!)

Rachel kept busy last Thursday - running errands, walking her dog, visiting a friend, and then going out to Bardot Lounge - and so I’ve added the pictures to the gallery. I’ve still got some updates to do in the gallery adding photos from past events and such so keep looking out for those!

NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU OFFICIAL TRAILER

I’ve been in love with New York ever since my first visit to the Big Apple in 2001, but I’m willing to do it all over again by watching “New York, I Love You,” which will hit theaters this October.

The first trailer for the collection of short films about the city has debuted online, and you can check it out after the jump. It features a superb cast, and it looks just as intriguing as its recent French counterpart “Paris, Je t’aime.”

Essentially, the film will showcase several shorts focusing on all things love in the Big Apple, giving audiences the opportunity to experience some of the city’s most famous, beautiful locations.

Orlando Bloom, Ethan Hawke, Hayden Christensen, Maggie Q, Chris Cooper, Kevin Bacon, Blake Lively, Anton Yelchin, Rachel Bilson, Andy Garcia and Bradley Cooper are some of the actors you’ll see in the film.

NEW LAYOUT

I’ve finally gotten around to making a new layout! I’m quite pleased with it, especially being the first layout I’ve made in months. Plus it’s very sunny, perfect for summer! Comments as to what you guys think would be greatly appreciated=] Also, I’ve been playing catch-up with all of Rachel’s past appearances so we’ve got quite a new range of pictures all the way from 2003 to the present. RACHEL - ENGAGEMENT IS ON!

Rachel Bilson chats with some friends after lunch at Italian restaurant Cecconi’s on Tuesday (August 4) in West Hollywood.

The 27-year-old former O.C. actress confirmed that her engagement with fiancé Hayden Christensen is still on. Rachel’s rep told the New York Daily News, “The engagement is on. She just doesn’t always wear the ring.”

Rachel caused some chatter of a possible separation when she appeared without an engagement ring at a party in Los Angeles.

RACHEL BILSON SAYS STOP TEXTING!

Celebs like Ciara, Rachel Bilson and Mandy Moore want us to stop being textually active…at least when we’re behind the wheel.

They were just a few of the stars at Nobu West Hollywood last night for Elle magazine and Express’ Hit the Road, TXT L8R campaign party, hosted by Ciara (who admitted her new short ‘do is actually a wig.)

Rachel came without her engagement ring, but newlywed Mandy Moore told us the person she texts most is her hubby, Ryan Adams.

VOGUE’S ANNIVERSARY PARTY FOR 3.1 PHILLIP LIM LA STORE

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, Rachel just hasn’t been doing much lately. I think she may be in Toronto, which would account for the lack of candids we’ve had. Regardless, I’m going to try to work more on the gallery and hopefully get all the old pictures up from past events. Also, I think I’ll be getting photoshop back soon which means new pages and activities for the site! So look out for that and keep checking back! xx

BILSON TO MARRY HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN

Rachel Bilson is reportedly set to wed Hayden Christensen. The former “O.C.” actress - who started dating the actor after meeting on the set of “Jumper” in 2007 - has been enjoying a break with Hayden’s family and onlookers overheard the actor’s grandmother calling Rachel her “future granddaughter.”

The couple were joined by Hayden’s grandparents and Rachel’s grandmother at New Jersey’s Virginia Hotel where “they all had cocktails on the front porch every night.”

Last year, Rachel revealed she wants to have a baby “in the next couple of years” but isn’t ready to tie the knot.

She said: “I don’t need to get married right now. I am more ready for a baby than marriage. Not really tomorrow, but definitely in the next couple of years which is the pretty near future. You have to have the guy, you know?”

When asked if she had found the future father of her children, Rachel replied: “I am happy where I am.”
